Two workers injured by explosion in Mākua Valley

Navy sailor, 21 dies in fall from Pali Notches hiking trail

The Honolulu Star Advertiser reported: A hiker who fell to his death off the Pali Notches trail on Sunday has been identified as Navy sailor Johnathan McNeeley, 21. McNeeley, a native of Lake Wales, Fla., was assigned to the USS John Paul Jones, based at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.

Navy sonar believed to be cause of multiple whale stranding in Guam
