they think it is  necessary&#8230; they turn our brothers and sisters into mercenaries, they are turning our planet into a cemetery..&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" President,<\/address>\n<address>Golf courses was where most of his time was spent.<\/address>\n<address>So I never really listened to what the President said,<\/address>\n<address>Because in general I believed that the General was politically dead.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>But he always seemed to know when the muscles were about to be flexed,<\/address>\n<address>Because I remember him saying something,<\/address>\n<address>mumbling something about a Military Industrial Complex.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>Americans no longer fight to keep their shores safe,<\/address>\n<address>Just to keep the jobs going in the arms making workplace.<\/address>\n<address>Then they pretend to be gripped by some sort of political reflex,<\/address>\n<address>But all they&#8217;re doing is<\/address>\n<address>paying dues to the Military Industrial Complex.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>The Military and the Monetary,<\/address>\n<address>The Military and the Monetary,<\/address>\n<address>The Military and the Monetary.<\/address>\n<address>The Military and the Monetary,<\/address>\n<address>get together whenever they think its necessary,<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>They turn our brothers and sisters into mercenaries,<\/address>\n<address>they are turning the planet into a cemetery.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>The Military and the Monetary, use the media as intermediaries,<\/address>\n<address>they are determined to keep the citizens secondary,<\/address>\n<address>they make so many decisions that are arbitrary.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>We&#8217;re marching behind a commander in chief,<\/address>\n<address>who is standing under a spotlight shaking like a leaf.<\/address>\n<address>but the ship of state had landed on an economic reef,<\/address>\n<address>so we knew he was going to bring us messages of grief.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>The Military and the Monetary,<\/address>\n<address>were shielded by January and went storming into February,<\/address>\n<address>Brought us pot bellied generals as luminaries,<\/address>\n<address>two weeks ago I hadn&#8217;t heard of the son of a bitch,<\/address>\n<address>now all of a sudden he&#8217;s legendary.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>They took the honour from the honourary,<\/address>\n<address>they took the dignity from the dignitaries,<\/address>\n<address>they took the secrets from the secretary,<\/address>\n<address>but they left the bitch an obituary.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>The Military and the Monetary,<\/address>\n<address>from thousands of miles away in a Saudi Arabian sanctuary,<\/address>\n<address>had us all scrambling for our dictionaries,<\/address>\n<address>cause we couldn&#8217;t understand the fuckin vocabulary.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>Yeah, there was some smart bombs,<\/address>\n<address>but there was some dumb ones as well,<\/address>\n<address>scared the hell out of CNN in that Baghdad hotel.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>The Military and the Monetary,<\/address>\n<address>they get together whenever they think its necessary,<\/address>\n<address>War in the desert sometimes sure is scary,<\/address>\n<address>but they beamed out the war to all their subsidiaries.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>Tried to make So Damn Insane a worthy adversary,<\/address>\n<address>keeping the citizens secondary,<\/address>\n<address>scaring old folks into coronaries.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>The Military and the Monetary,<\/address>\n<address>from thousands of miles in a Saudi Arabian sanctuary,<\/address>\n<address>kept us all wondering if all of this was really truely, necessary.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>We&#8217;ve got to work for Peace,<\/address>\n<address>Peace ain&#8217;t coming this way.<\/address>\n<address>If we only work for Peace,<\/address>\n<address>If everyone believed in Peace the way they say they do,<\/address>\n<address>we&#8217;d have Peace.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>The only thing wrong with Peace,<\/address>\n<address>is that you can&#8217;t make no money from it.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>The Military and the Monetary,<\/address>\n<address>they get together whenever they think its necessary,<\/address>\n<address>they&#8217;ve turned our brothers and sisters into mercenaries,<\/address>\n<address>they are turning the planet, into a cemetery.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>Got to work for Peace,<\/address>\n<address>Peace ain&#8217;t coming this way.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>We should not allow ourselves to be mislead,<\/address>\n<address>by talk of entering a time of Peace,<\/address>\n<address>Peace is not the absence of war,<\/address>\n<address>it is the absence of the rules of war and<\/address>\n<address>the threats of war and the preparation for war.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>Peace is not the absence of war,<\/address>\n<address>it is the time when we will all bring ourselves closer to each other,<\/address>\n<address>closer to building a structure that is unique within ourselves<\/address>\n<address>because we have finally come to Peace within ourselves.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> Panamanians,<\/address>\n<address>and saw Ollie North selling guns to the Iranians.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>Watched Gorbachev slaughtering Lithuanians,<\/address>\n<address>We better warn the Amish,<\/address>\n<address>they may bomb the Pennsylvanians.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>The Military and the Monetary,<\/address>\n<address>get together whenever they think its necessary,<\/address>\n<address>they have turned our brothers and sisters into mercenaries,<\/address>\n<address>they are turning the planet, into a cemetery.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>I don&#8217;t want to sound like no late night commercial,<\/address>\n<address>but its a matter of fact that there are<\/address>\n<address>thousands of children all over the world<\/address>\n<address>in Asia and Africa and in South America who need our help.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>When they start talking about 55 cents a day and 70 cents a day,<\/address>\n<address>I know a lot of folks feel as though that,<\/address>\n<address>thats not really any kind of contribution to make,<\/address>\n<address>but we had to give up a dollar<\/address>\n<address>and a half just to get in the subway nowadays.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>So this is a song about tommorrow<\/address>\n<address>and about how tommorrow can be better. if we all,<\/address>\n<address>&#8220;Each one reach one, Each one try to teach one&#8221;.<\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address> <\/address>\n<address>Nobody can do everything,<\/address>\n<address>but everybody can do something,<\/address>\n<address>everyone must play a
